TENURED BY IGNITE9 · MODERNIZE · TENURED CODE REMEDIATION
Modernize your custom code, with proof for every object.
Tenured takes your own custom objects as you export them, finds by static analysis what breaks or behaves differently on S/4HANA, fixes it with reviewed recipes and AI rewrites that pass the same checks, checks every fix against your clean-core target and records the evidence for every object. Promotion to production is always your own people’s.
Custom code is always yours, never the software vendor’s. Tenured works only on what you export with your own tools, and every change goes back through your own transport or deployment tools, approved by your people.

01 / WHAT GETS IN THE WAY
Modernization projects stall on custom code.
Remediation sold by the hour
Inventory, fixes and tests are done by hand, one object at a time, and the bill follows the hours spent, not the objects delivered.
A readiness report is not a fix
Readiness checks list what will break. Someone still has to change each object and show that it still does what it did.
Testing is where the time goes
Showing that a changed program behaves as before means rebuilding test data and repeating manual tests for every object.
Progress nobody outside IT can read
Status lives in spreadsheets and steering meetings, not in a view a finance or operations lead can follow.
02 / BEFORE AND AFTER
From hours spent to objects verified.
How a legacy remediation is usually run, and how Tenured Code Remediation runs it.
Inventory
TodaySpreadsheets of custom objects, compiled by hand and out of date by the time they are read.
With TenuredYour own objects, exported with your tools and fingerprinted; vendor code is refused at intake.
Fix
TodayEach object changed by hand, one at a time, at an hourly rate.
With TenuredReviewed recipes fix the recurring kinds of finding the same way every time; AI rewrites the hard cases from bounded inputs.
Verify
TodayManual regression tests, repeated for every object and every cycle.
With TenuredOld against new, object by object, with obligations that close only on evidence, then the run of record in your sandbox and development system.
Report
TodayStatus meetings and slide decks.
With TenuredA dashboard and a Word and PDF report drawn from the run’s own records, with an evidence ledger per object.
03 / HOW TENURED WORKS ON IT
Measured, verified remediation, object by object.
- 1
Your code, exported with your tools
Your own custom objects come out of your system as an abapGit export, and each file is recorded with a fingerprint. Anything outside your own namespace, vendor code included, is refused at intake by name: custom code is yours, and only yours is worked on.
- 2
Static analysis finds what breaks
Static analysis finds the statements whose result is not defined, or that break, on S/4HANA: a read into a table whose row order is used without ORDER BY, a SELECT SINGLE on part of a key, obsolete statements and syntax errors. In each unit a fix touches, every database read and write, function call, authorization check and commit becomes an obligation the new version must keep.
- 3
Reviewed recipes fix what they can
Reviewed recipes fix each kind of finding they cover, such as reads whose row order is used but not defined. A recipe declines what it cannot fix safely and says why, and every fix is checked for syntax. The share recipes fix is measured on your code and shown, never promised in advance.
- 4
Cut into units, checked against your target
The work is cut into units, such as methods, forms and function modules, and ordered so that what is called comes before its callers; every call it cannot order and every object it cannot cut is counted, never dropped. New code is checked against your S/4HANA clean-core target.
- 5
AI for the hard rewrites
Where no recipe exists, a digital employee rewrites the unit from bounded inputs, one digital employee per unit working in parallel, and its output passes the same checks as a recipe’s before it is verified.
- 6
Old against new, on the record
Each changed object is compared old against new, and every object gets an evidence ledger and one status, from fixed with its evidence to needs a person. An obligation closes only with evidence, and the proof of record is in your sandbox and development system.
- 7
Your people approve; your administrators promote
A change moves on a transport to QA only after your people approve it on that proof. Promotion to production is always done by your own administrators.
04 / THE DASHBOARD · ILLUSTRATIVE MOCK
Progress a business user can read.
An illustrative mock of the remediation dashboard. Every object name and figure in it is invented: it is not a client’s result and not a measurement. In an engagement, every count is measured on your own code and shown as it is.

05 / WHAT YOU GET
What the work leaves behind.
A remediation dashboard
Objects by status, fixed or open, readable by business users, every number opening the evidence it counts.
An evidence ledger per object
Each obligation with the evidence that closed it, or named as open.
A Word and PDF report
The run’s findings, fixes, statuses and evidence, written from the run’s own records.
Change sets in your target’s format
For your own transport or deployment tools, with their test results.
What remains open
Every object whose proof is still open, with what blocks it.
06 / MODERNIZE · WHAT TENURED DOES
What Tenured does for you.
SAP ECC to S/4HANA custom-code remediation
Static analysis of your own exported custom code finds what breaks or is not defined on S/4HANA, and reviewed recipes fix it, each declining what it cannot fix safely. Every fix gets a syntax check.
An evidence ledger and one status per object
Every database read and write, call, authorization check and commit a fix touches is an obligation that closes only with evidence, and every object carries one status, from fixed to needs a person.
Checking new code against the S/4HANA clean-core target
Each draft is checked against ABAP for Cloud Development and the objects SAP has released, with released successors first. What the check cannot read is reported as not judged, never passed.
Work planned in units, one digital employee per unit
The code is cut into methods, forms and function modules, ordered callees first, and each unit goes to its own digital employee, working in parallel. AI rewrites pass the same checks as a recipe’s.
Finding callers of your interfaces in your own compiled programs
With your written authorization, static analysis of your own compiled programs finds where they call your SAP interfaces, offline, so nothing that depends on an interface is missed.
Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion
Analysis, obligations and verification for a re-implementation of your extensions as Fusion extensions.
Legacy systems to Salesforce and Workday
Re-implementation in Apex and Salesforce metadata, and requirements carried into Workday extensions and integrations, each checked against the obligations of the original.
S/4HANA readiness, the dashboard and the report
A readiness view of a whole system, a remediation dashboard business users can read, and a Word and PDF report of the run, every figure taken from the run’s own records.
07 / HOW TO START
Start with a read-only assessment.
Tenured’s capabilities are delivered through design-partner engagements: scope and timing are confirmed when we scope your work.
Start with a read-only assessment
Tell us the system and the work. We scope what Tenured reads, read-only, and what it needs from your people, before anything changes.
Start with a read-only assessmentBecome a design partner
Bring your first cases and shape the work with us. Your people set the scope, and Tenured works on your systems under the access you grant.

NEXT STEP
Bring one ticket that bounced between five teams.
In a 30-minute demo we show Tenured at work, walk through how it would handle yours, answer your security team’s first questions and agree the scope of a design-partner engagement.
